Sorry, Barack: How many countries punch above their weight?

A Danish broadcaster has had a look at Barack Obama’s comments that Denmark “punches above its weight”…

IT APPEARS the people of Denmark were quite chuffed when Barack Obama commented recently that the country ‘punched above its weight’ on international matters.

That’s why Danish show ‘Detektor’ (awesome name, if we do say so ourselves) decided to parse other remarks made by Obama in the company of other world leaders – including Enda Kenny – to see if other countries had benefited from similar praise.

We don’t think it’s much of a spoiler alert to suggest that yes: many other countries ‘punch above their weight’.
