THIS WAS THE tweet that excited thousands of Rolling Stones fans across Los Angeles last night, leading to a scramble for 650 $20 tickets.
The legendary rock band played the Echoplex in LA’s Echo Park neighbourhood just two hours after announcing the gig on Twitter.
The 14-song set included You Got me Rockin’, Brown Sugar and Jumpin’ Jack Flash. The Stones begin a north America tour next week to mark the group’s 50th anniversary. Tickets for those shows are selling for a lot more than $20 with cheap seats starting at $250.
