A COLLECTION OF paintings have been scanned and converted into a virtual gallery to wrap around an empty unit in Clarehall Shopping Centre in Dublin.
The project is the work of PrettyvacanT Dublin and Virtual Shopfronts, who issued an open call for artwork through social media channels.
PrettyvacanT was set up in 2009 to turn empty spaces into temporary exhibition spaces.
The paintings were then scanned and rendered so that they could be projected on blank canvasses in a 3D gallery around the vacant unit.
Three artists submitted 16 individual artworks – Elaine Leigh, Natasha Edmondson and Sean Healy and the ‘True Potential’ gallery is located on the second floor of Clarehall Shopping Centre on the Malahide Road.
