The Wicklow resident and Hollywood favourite seems to have been born to play the role.
And the 55-year-old has done just that in Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln which is due for release in the US in November and in Ireland in January next year. The movie chronicles the final months of Lincoln’s presidency.
