#10 – He’s a brilliant drummer.

Replacing Peter Gabriel on vocals isn’t something too many people could do either – the version of the Gabriel-era ‘Supper’s Ready’ on Seconds Out is flawless. His 80s and 90s solo work is muck though!

I preferred him as the drummer of Genesis and Gabriel as the front man. Phil took a fantastic art rock band and turned it into an over produced commercial radio play business.

Noooo his is terrific!

He’s also in ‘Hook’

No it’s not!

And we went to the concert in Paris that made it to DVD on his “First Final Farewell” tour (June 2004) You can see my wife several times on it! Barely see me at all…

Then Nov 15&16 we saw him on Dublin… Both nights… So funny cos the first night he spoke Irish, the second he didn’t and I shouted “Conas atá tú?” and then recognised me!!! Lol!

But his music is sh!te

Can’t stand the man, his music or his producing skills, even managed to make John Martyn sound rubbish in the 80′s… Or who could forget him “filling in” for John Bonham at Live Aid with Zeppelin.. He couldn’t fill in a colouring book.
