If its ‘provocative’ you want. I’ll be watching ‘Pornstars on Ice’ over on Channel Mature at the same time. Really good show, I think it’s in it’s fifth season this year. The judges can be tough and the show has courted some controversy, especially the year they had the two gay midgets. Although it was obvious to all of the audience and the judges that they clearly couldn’t skate, they became the surprise hit with the viewers and got voted back in week after week, only going out in the semi-final following what was their best performance of the series, skating to a medley of the songs, ‘Old McDonald’, ‘Danny Boy’ and ‘Thriller’.
Nobody who saw it live, will ever forget the ‘Frost bite’ injury that the nineties legend Mr DONGALONG ™ suffered last year. Following some dark days for the star, it was great to see him bounce back and collect awards for his groundbreaking work in the manufacture of prosthetics. He’s rumoured to be opening the first night of the new series skating to Radiohead’s ‘Fake Plastic Trees’.
There will also be some Irish interest this year with a certain ‘Hurler’ from the south-east joining the judging panel as a guest judge and local Irish pornstar Seamus Shillelagh will be showing us his tricks out on the ice.
All in all, it’s looking like a good line up this year and will be definitely worth a watch.
