YOU CAN’T JUST do something naughty any more and expect to get away with it. There are ways and means, as Oscar’s Café Bar in Smithfield, Dublin have proved.

The pub has a very large bone to pick with three customers who ran out on their €300 bill last night, and they’re threatening to name and shame the group on Facebook if they don’t pay back the dough within three days.

Staff posted a pixelated screengrab of CCTV footage that captured the three men drinking at the bar, then delivered the ultimatum:

To the three gin and tonic drinking, well-spoken, “respectable” punters who were in last night. You have 72 hours to compensate us €300 for the damage you did to our restrooms and running out without paying your bill.

“We have CCTV cameras everywhere and will have no hesitation in publishing our unpixelated footage during the week if we do not receive payment. #72hoursa**holes,” they added.

Modern justice at work.
