Oh the memories…. Now 12 and 13 we’re when I started getting into music, had now 12 up until a couple of years ago when one of my kids decided to take all the tape out and decorate themselves.

I found Now 1 on vinyl in my parents house recently. It went down a storm at a party in my place over christmas!

I used to live for these coming out. Remember borrowing my brother’s one from about 1987 or ’88 and being enthralled by T’Pau’s China in Your Hands and a song called Hey Matthew!
Me and missus got the latest one there this past Christmas for old time’s sake…only knew about three songs and one of them was Robbie Williams…feeling so old..even though I’m not!

Now 29 was my first one – double cassette – the days!

I still Have the very first one, actually have the first 3 on vinyl

I have to say I was around for the first one and up till 44 most of the music was good , pity that can’t be say about the ones after that

I still have and play a now. 3 cassette. Red red wine etc. They kinda went downhill in later years.

I can’t remember past 1969….

I have an original NOW cassette tape. The writing on the front is worn off from use so I dont know which one it is. It features songs like 99 red ballons, wouldnt it be good by Nick Kershaw, hold me now by Thompson twins.
Anyone know what number NOW it is?

Now 4 was the first album I ever bought, double vinyl.

Have every single one in iTunes now though.

oreilly I think that was now 4. my brother got it from santa in 83 or 84.

Are they worth anything I wonder ?
As I happen to have every one , all the early ones I have l.p and cassette versions . The lot to date .

There’s an unofficial Now app with all the songs and dates etc. Good if you’ve a few minutes to spare!

These always reminded me of Christmas. No 10 was the first one I ever got. Good times.

I have pre Now LP known as Top of the Pops. The LP is part of a 2 part set but I only got one for my 7th birthday as my friend kept the other part. I can still remember my shock and disappointment when I opened the present. To this day I dont even know what songs were on the 2nd vinyl :(

Awww the 80s the best music EVER – man I sound like my mother ;-) but the music was my disco time and how happy were I when I was able to save my pocket money to go to the shop and buy a record for my record player…or taping in the night hidden with the old radio and my cassettes the top ten ;-)

Still have Now 1 on double LP! ’twas all the rage back in the 80′s there was rival comp called hits as well you nearly had to buy both to get all the songs you wanted!

I have loads of Now CDs since I was 17 up to the age I am which is 28 now. Nows r brilliant. Disc 2 always the better one for some reason thou.

Have the first Now and the first Hits on vinyl. Recently dug up a load of 5 Star records too from my wife’s collection. Anyone remember them?

Can now 1 be got as a cd

I have all the NOWs from 45 onwards, so it was great to see the ads for all the ones I missed! They’re still going strong now, even tho they’re not a novelty any more, and a lot of people say the music’s gone downhill, but I still love collecting them, for the variety. I remember finding NOW 1, as a record, at a family gathering once- that was an amazing moment!

Now 20 is the one I remember first, my sister got it one Christmas. Class.

I had 29 and 32 on tape.

I’m glad I have none of them

The reason they titled these records as they did was as a marketing ploy to persuade the public that there was music inside
