Actor Emile Hirsch has been charged with aggravated assault after he choked a female film executive. The Into The Wild star reportedly approached Insurge Pictures exec Daniele Bernfeld at a Sundance party, put her in a chokehold, and dragged her across a nightclub table.
Witnesses say that Hirsch told Bernfeld she was a “rich kid who should not be at Sundance”. If he’s convicted, he could face up to five years in prison and a $5000 fine. (Associated Press)
