1st time in 33 years of marriage, just myself and herself at home. Can’t wait!

The Millennium killed New Years Eve in this country. Brought into sharp focus just what a cliched, over-priced anti-climax the whole circus is. Hasn’t been the same since.

Only if you plan on watching Jools and not what ever crap RTE have thrown together :)

Not pushed either way its nice to have family or friends around you nye but its nice to have them every other day of the year. Its only a few hours out of i dunno how many a year.

Am spending it with my dogs, curled up watching a movie or two. Will meet family tomorrow for dinner, and the other half comes home after that. Quite liking it all.

The RTE show had loads of potential. Ham sandwich, bellX1 and the beautiful and great Imelda May. But of course they f*cked it up with a bunch of Z list “celebs” talking shite.

I’d probably be in bed but me boys want to hang in there and peg it out on the street at midnight – along with their friends. I hope there won’t be too many trying to sleep.

personally I think New Year Eve is over-hyped. Isn’t it all over by one minute passed midnight

Used to like it before everyone became miserable, now it’s all a bit meh……..

I really get buzzed up for tonight, no idea why. Don’t care that’s its going into a new year. Suppose it’s just a reason to get mangled drunk (I rarely drink). Come 12.10 ill be like let’s make like Shepard’s and get the flock out of here. That’s if I can stand.
