A RADIO STATION in Santa Clara, California has played nothing but Nelly’s hit Hot in Herre since yesterday afternoon.
Baffled listeners have been coming up with various reasons for the Nelly loop, from a station takeover to the DJ being held hostage, but it could be a deliberate move to draw attention to Latino Mix 105.7.
On Reddit it has been suggested that the great Hot in Herre event of 2014 is a form of ‘stunting’, signalling a major format change at the station.
