Prehistoric Road Sign of the Day

Seen in West Cork, apparently.

THIS RATHER UNIQUE road sign was discovered in west Cork by Reddit user BakersDozen:

A little Googling, meanwhile, reveals that Flickr user Shane Horan found a similar – but subtly different – one. He writes that this ancient specimen was photographed in 2007 in Kealkill, on the road between Macroom and Glengariff.
