A WOMAN IN TENNESSEE has been criticised for attaching her newborn daughter to her wedding dress and dragging her down the aisle.
Shona Carter-Brooks defended her controversial move, posting on Facebook that her one-month old daughter Aubrey was ”awake and well-secured” and “covered by Christ”.
Comments from friends and family noted how touching the moment was, but as the photos spread, so did the outrage.
Carter-Brooks said her wedding dress was altered to fit the baby and at no stage was she in any danger.
