I think it’s funny that a school (Colaiste Bride Clondalkin) with 3 Information Technology rooms, is only getting broadband now. Seriously, what are they teaching the students, about computers that they don’t already probably know.

Let me guess, MS Word, spreadsheets. I’m sure they all want to be secretaries and data processors. …and for information, maybe Encarta ’98, because you don’t even need dialup to run that CDRom.

I never understand the use of the term ”roll-out” in contexts like these.

I’m not picking on thejournal.ie specifcally, I think most media outlets are guilt of using (if not absuing) the term.

When I think of ”roll-out”, I think of someone rolling out a red-carpet!
