Man dresses up as a Power Ranger to help out at Tokyo subway station

Real human being, and a real hero.

THE KICK ASS movies have a lot to answer for.

First it was a teenager dressing up as a ninja to fight crime, now a man in Toyko is helping mothers up and down subway steps–dressed as a power ranger.

The 27-year-old shop assistant, Tadahiro Kanemasu, began the service three months ago after he noticed the need for his service due to bad accessibility on the Tokyo subway.

Kanemasu says he wears the green suit to protect his identity as it alleviates people from feeling in his debt. He also helps the elderly navigate through the underground as well as those with heavy luggage.

But he’s only one man, and is now looking to recruit a team–there’s only so much a superhero can do when he has a day job.
