Louis Walsh slapped Shane Filan in the face and asked him “What the f***?” Why, you ask? Because Shane turned up with a horrific hangover for Westlife’s first audition with pop powerbroker Simon Cowell, and made a balls of it. Afterwards, according to Shane’s recollection in his autobiography, Louis:
reappeared with a face like thunder, stormed up and slapped me in the face. “What the f*** was that, Shane?” he yelled. “It was s****! He didn’t like you! [...] You f***** it up!”
Luckily, they fooled Cowell by dyeing Filan’s hair blonde for the next audition. The rest is history. (Mirror)
Kanye West joined a hen party. The gang of ladies were at a restaurant in New Orleans when they spotted the rapper across the room. He bought them a bottle of champagne, and then agreed to join them for this excellent photograph:
