Belfast shop insists it's displaying Ivory Coast flag, NOT Ireland flag

It’s gold, white and green, RIGHT?!

THE LINFIELD FOOTBALL Club shop on the Shankill Road in west Belfast is marking the start of the World Cup with a nice window display.

The club enjoys strong support in the predominantly loyalist area.

The store has decorated its shop front with some global flags, including one representing the Ivory Coast, which features the same colours as the Irish tricolour but in reverse order.

We repeat, it is an Ivory Coast flag. NOT a Republic of Ireland flag.

A sign in the window clears up any confusion.
