Lindsay Lohan claims she handled Whitney Houston's body... it's The Dredge

All the best of the day’s celebrity dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Lindsay Lohan claims that she handled Whitney Houston’s dead body while completing community service at a morgue. The actress, who is currently preparing to star on the West End, made the claim in an interview with The Telegraph.

The actress stated that she worked twelve-hour shifts in the morgue during her community service and rolled out a body bag for Whitney Houston.

For four months, she worked from 4am to 4pm. It was, as she puts it, “F’d up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: ‘No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can.’ It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston.

F’d up and inappropriate, indeed.

In response to the outlandish claim, an official from the Coroner’s Office told TMZ that this didn’t happen as Houston was never in a body bag to begin with and nobody in the probation programme came into contact with her body.

Oh, Lindsay. (TMZ)

Jerry Seinfeld has shared a text sent before Joan Rivers’ passing, which reveals the veteran comedian was set to appear on his web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Seinfeld posted the image to his Facebook and wrote the following.

I just came across this heartbreaking text on my phone from August 19th. I had asked Joan Rivers to be our lead guest on the new season of Comedians in Cars, and she was thrilled. Then we got a call saying she was going in for a medical procedure and needed to postpone. I would have loved to have shown another side of her. I wanted to tell her how much I admire all she had accomplished, especially in the latter stages of her career. She was one of the greats. I’ll miss her.

Joan Rivers passed away on September 4th after complications arising from a throat procedure. The doctor who performed the throat procedure has since been fired.
