6 people who are way too prepared for Christmas

C’mon, guys. Give the rest of us a chance.

SOME PEOPLE TAKE getting ready early to the extreme.

We all know how it feels when you clock a Christmas tree before Hallowe’en – you curse the person who is so prepared for the festive season that they’re on top of things already.

But maybe they have a point, no? Getting ready beats the rush. Perhaps we’re not annoyed when we see people preparing early, we’re jealous

1. Head start…?

According to a survey by Which? magazine, one in ten people buy their Christmas presents in the January sales. Listen up – there’s sensible ahead-of-the-curve preparations, and there’s that. Presumably these are the types of people who also colour code their cereal and organise their sock drawer by fabric type.

2. Rockin’ around…

We all enjoy decorating the Christmas tree. That’s a given. Even the most churlish of grinches can agree that hanging the star atop the tree is probably the biggest treat going. But some people? Some people get a bit carried away. Ahem. Like this lady.

3. Paws for thought

Ah, leave the pets out of it. They don’t need to be involved in your over-preparation. (Although, this dog is right in fairness to him. It’s time to start making the pudding.)

4. Starlight, star bright

Have you ever noticed that those people who want their Christmas lights to be seen from space also tend to put them up far too early? Cos we have…

5. Wishful thinking

One group of people are ALWAYS well-prepared far, far too early for Christmas. And who is that you ask? Why, kids of course. We all know that the Santa list is practically written in September (although to be carefully honed during the autumn and winter months). Kids would have Christmas in July if they were let.

6. And finally…

Enough said. Put the suit away, Santa. That get-up is strictly November and December stuff.

Christmas is just around the corner and Lidl want to help you get a head start and beat the Christmas rush. Wouldn’t it be great to be one of the smug people relaxing on Christmas Eve this year, rather than whizzing around getting your final bits? Time is a luxury, after all. And so is Lidl’s Deluxe range – little luxuries at affordable prices. Check out the brochure here.
