So, we got an email from Santa...

Have you got a smallie in your life? Quick! Santa has a message for them.

SANTA! I KNOW him!

There are 42 sleeps –  or around 996 hours –  to go until Christmas. With time ticking by, Santa has a message for all the boys and girls which he emailed to us at DailyEdge.ie so we can get the word out.

He wants to make sure all of the Christmas letters get to him as soon as possible, because the elves are working hard in the workshop and “Mrs Claus is checking lists of names on her computer” (how very modern of you Mrs Claus!) and planning Santa’s Christmas Eve journey.

I love reading the letters from children in Ireland, particularly when they have taken the time to write the letter themselves.

Here are the simple steps every child needs to follow when posting a letter to Santa:

  • Put the letter in an envelope
  • Write their own name and address clearly on the top left-hand corner of the front of the envelope
  • Stick a 55 stamp on the envelope on the top right-hand corner of the front of the envelope
  • Send it to: Santa Claus, North Pole

Santa (with the help of the An Post elves) will be responding all the letters he possibly can, but you have to get them in soon!

By the way, Santa also sent another special message in the email:
