IT WAS A day that saw the Leaving Cert labelled “cruel and unusual punishment” by the Teacher of the Year, as the Minister for Education told students they “deserve to celebrate”.
Which many of them did, last night. So how did that momentous 24 hours look from the point of view of those going through it? (Or, in the case of the celebrations, those watching those going through it.)
