I love Tony.

They did a duet for his last album – wasn’t it “The Lady Is A Tramp”? I was surprised by how good her voice is. Not a fan of either singer but I like it that they’ve decided to mix it up a bit. Snobbery and ageism are the enemies of all art. Bennet’s range will have shrunk because of his age and this happens to every singer. Doesn’t mean he is any less passionate about his art or should be silenced. Recognising your limitations can sometimes be the genesis of great work.

Can’t wait! Her duet with Tony Bennett is fantastic! Whatever you think about her, she has a wonderful voice and Tony is a gent and legend! I recommend his duet album, very good.

I wouldn’t go see these two if they were playing in my shed. Their cd will make an interesting coaster, for parties. It’s bound to stir up conversation like; “that’s not real?” and “who the hell are they?”.

Now even Tont Bennett is a sellout, next thing you know “The Boss” will do a duet with Bieber…

Auld Tony is hanging on for dear life. Surely he should retire. Saw him in the marqee in cork few years back and he couldn’t make any of the high notes in songs he’s most famous for. He was fantastic but not for a long time.
