KODALINE PLAYED A smallish traditional music pub in Galway last night, in a surprise gig for 200 fans.

The Dublin band took the stage in An Púcán as part of a late-notice Guinness Amplify event, alongside London Grammar and singer-songwriter Dan Croll.

This is what the queue looked like, after word emerged yesterday morning that the gig was taking place:

Kodaline tweeted yesterday morning:

And Guinness Amplify – a series of music events announced as a replacement for Arthur’s Day – posted this Vine. (Is that a pack of toilet roll your man is holding? We think it might be.)

Fans queued from 4pm for wristbands, but only 200 were admitted.

They played a set including their signature cover, Dirty Old Town.
