I love the uk and Australian masterchef shows but find the Irish version impossible to watch.

Yer one who cut her finger reminded me of the Mayo defender in the semi final. Lay on the ground for five minute, needed oxygen and then had to be helped off the field by two people….. For a dislocated finger LOL

I nearly took my little finger off when I broke a glass that was in my hand! finger hanging off, blood everywhere. What did I do, when to the chemist, bought a packet of steri strips, sorted! How did I make that decision? Hadn’t got EUR60 to go to my doctor, for him to tell me he can’t stitch it and send me into A&E costing EUR100! Steri strips cost EUR3.50 for 2 packets.

My finger, fine, still there. No big deal! No! I wasn’t drinking, heading to the fridge to get a drink of water and accidently banged the glass on the granite counter!

I once dislocated my little finger in basketball. No doctor on site so I had to pull and pop it back into place. Carried on playing with the other hand. Prob should have brought myself to A&E but would have been 6 hours there.
