It’s Friday so here’s a slideshow of penguins from around the world

It’s Friday, that means it’s time for pictures of cute animals. This week it’s penguins.

A PENGUIN. IT’S a delicious chocolate bar as well as an aquatic, flightless bird that spends most of its time in the southern hemisphere.

Like donkeys last week we come across penguins in all aspects of popular culture be it from the chocolate bar, to the famous publishers Penguin Books or the multitude of films such as Happy Feet or March of the Penguins.

Last week our slideshow of donkeys prompted one of our readers to suggest that we do a slideshow of penguins.

Given the story yesterday about ‘gay’ penguins having to be separated at a Toronto zoo we thought what better time to oblige and dig out a few happy snaps of some lovely penguins.
