THE IPHONE 5 has been out for just over 4 months, which means it’s clearly time to start talking about iPhone 6.
Techie websites are abuzz with rumours of things like a larger iPhone Math and fingerprint detection, but Twitter seems to be where the real secrets are coming out.
This ad is also flying around – it’s just a design exercise, but doesn’t it look nice?

Why don’t the journal just have a tech section that covers everything and is as unbiased as possible? Non of this iphone this iphone that malarkey. Something that’s balanced and provides information and allows the readers to make their own decisions.
Like a newspaper…….oh wait!
The iPhone 5 wasn’t worth the money as we have no 4g here so basically anyone who git a iPhone 5 bought something they can’t use and is way higher priced than the iphone4 and can only avail of 3g..
The iPhone 6 will still be no good as Ireland is to far behind technology
4g is going to be great but for some on saoir view its spells disaster.when 4g was released in London it wiped out tv reception the UK government made the companies pay for anyone having problems to switch to free sat.
I wounder when it happens here will there be measures in place to compensate people or will it cost another 300+ to get it installed yourself.
The government already made everyone switch to digital… That’s what ‘the big switch’ and ‘saorview’ were all about. The analog TV signal was being switched off to sell the bandwidth to 4g cellular.
Do you really expect the whole country to lag behind the world to save some old biddy TV signal
@andrew.you know very little about this do you?.saoir view can be received on a digital Aerial which will be knocked out from 4g..it also can be got on saoir sat with a dish.
It’s not just old biddys that will be shut off people close to citys towns and transmitters so even if you bought a brand new tv with saoir view built in this will be wiped out
The old analog system you mentioned was turned off late last year..
Apple has dropped the ball and development is in little steps and even smaller with the GS sub models that I’m sure will follow with iphone 5 GS.
Typing this on an iPhone which when the contract ends in the summer will be replaced by an Ubuntu phone if possible, now that phone will be a game changer!
I love ubuntu, but it will never gain the traction it needs.. too many platforms splits the market too much, especially with blackberry lookin at sellin bb10, firefox coming out with their own system and now Samsung launching that other open platform who’s name escapes me..
The amount of coverage the Journal gives the iPhone is completely ridiculous, I have an iPhone5 and really like it but enough is enough. How about covering some of the Android devices to the same extent?!
the iphone 5 is horrid, horrible battery life, made worse with the recent software update, ridicously expensive and apart from its slighty (very), bigger screen not a song and dance away from the perfectly good 4s, I wonder is this phone actually worth the expense and indeed leap of faith into extending or taking out a new phone contract. Samsung seem to be giving Apple a serious run for their money and its intriguing to see some networks are now bringing back the iphone 4 8gb, why i wondered as this was perhaps apples worst phone, something quite bizzare is going on and its doubtful the 5 is selling in the amounts apple claim.
