MANY PEOPLE WILL be eagerly anticipating the launch of a new iPhone this coming week with Apple set to reveal all at an event in California on Wednesday.

While various leaks and rumours have shed light on some of the new features that we can expect when the iPhone 5 is launched in the coming week we won’t know everything until Wednesday.

That means that concept designers and techie-types can speculate to their heart’s content and come up with cool videos like this one which includes a revolutionary fingerprint unlocking, and pinch and zoom technology that turns your iPhone into an iPad.

We’re probably a few years off that though:

No one is really going to know for sure what the I phone 5 is like until next Wednesday 12th so a lot of it still speculation. let the android/iOS war begin

  Fizi actually apple copy too. Steve jobs always admitted they take others ideas and make them better. They copied the GUI layout of windows 3.1 for the mac. Both had desktops a mouse, cursors and drag and drop. Today they would be suing the hell out of each other lol.
  
  I have iPhone I’ve had one going back to 2007 and in fairness at the time and for few years apple were amazing but I just can’t see iOS beating the fuctionality of android. The s3 is the best phone on the planet this year. I am upgrading I want to wait see what iPhone 5 offers but I see myself in couple if weeks with s3 to be honest. One of the things that really got me is utorrent app on android. Unlimited data with 3 you can just download your tv shows in your pocket. Can’t do that with ios it’s too restrictive.

At 0.27 notice the guy doesn’t bother lining his finger up with the f’print recognition icon. They have to be aligned perfectly for the s/ware to recognise the fingerprint. Fail.
