Featuring Meryl Streep, Jeremy Hunt and a blue carpet. Maggie herself wasn’t there.

DESPITE THE WIND and rain, stars and fans came out in their droves last night to attend the premiere of the Margaret Thatcher biopic The Iron Lady.

Not only is it one of the most anticipated films of the century, it stars Meryl Streep. So yes, there is definitely a need for a slideshow.

Also, there was a blue carpet, an oddly-dressed down Culture Minister and an appearance by the dashing Tom Hardy. Need we say anymore?

  • Meryl may be headed for another Oscar nod for the Iron Lady but she’s never looked better than on the Zombie Walk of Fame as a featured diva at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/10/00-countdown-to-halloween-divas-of.html

    • She really isn’t that different to Charlie, he pocketed it, she just gave it to a very select few, who were friends and donors of her party.

The seeds of the financial crisis started with her and Reagan’s coming to power, just look at borrow and spend rocket in Britain and America, when they came to power. Same as the extreme gombeen state of the last 13 years here started with Haughey.

2 cold power hungry people. Is it any wonder that her family refuse to have anything to do with her.
