IT’S NOT EVERY DAY you see an animated-cat-themed plane take to the skies.

Last week, a Taiwanese airline launched a Hello Kitty-themed plane in the first of a planned series of the themed trips. The maiden Hello Kitty flight travelled from Taipei to Shanghai, China on Wednesday.

The plane was kitted out (sorry…) with Hello Kitty seat covers, cushions and screen savers on the inside, and an elaborate Hello Kitty with cactus and Tower of Pisa image on the outside. Could you see yourself in one of these seats?
