Grammys reporter rushed to hospital amid stroke fears

Serene Branson seemed to have merely stumbled over her live CBS broadcast – but was later rushed to hospital.

A CBS entertainment news reporter was last night rushed to hospital amid fears she had suffered a stroke live on air.

Serene Branson was reporting live on air as part of CBS2′s evening news broadcast in Los Angeles, and had attempted in introduce a package of highlights and backstage videos when she began to stumble over her words.

Having paused to repeat her misspoken sentence, Branson became obviously concerned when she remained unable to deliver her words properly – just about managing to introduce the abrupt highlights package amid her unintelligible speech.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Branson was rushed to a hospital shortly after the ill-fated broadcast, though her current condition remains unknown.

It goes without saying, of course, that the following video will make uncomfortable viewing for many.
