seven times eight is...

UK finance minister George Osborne makes a hames of kid's question: "What's 7 times 8?"

This would never happen to Michael Noonan. Right?

CHANCELLOR OF THE Exchequer George Osborne is responsible for the financial affairs of the entire United Kingdom.

He appeared in a Sky News show this morning where he faced a fearsome panel of seasoned interviewers.

Yes, they were all kids. One (the steely Paxman-esque figure on the far left) asked him “What’s seven times eight?”

CAUGHT. ROTTEN.

Awkward.

Here’s the full interview. Also, someone needs to set Michael Noonan up with a times table test immediately.
