The Baptist church is known for its hate speech and for frequently picketing public events.
Last week, the church announced its intention to picket a Foo Fighters concert in Spring Centre, Kansas City.

Foo Fighters evidently caught wind of Westboro Baptist Church’s plans and decided to concoct their own plan.
On Friday, the band rolled up in a car blasting Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up and Rick-rolled the assembled members of Westboro Baptist Church.
As the protestors held signs saying things like, “No Special Laws 4 Fags,” the band danced to Never Gonna Give You Up with dozens of fans.
It was pretty much the perfect antidote to the Westboro Baptist Church.
