Paige-Ellen Williams from Llantrisant, Wales told Wales Online that a few weeks ago, she jokingly asked her boyfriend Richard Selway to give her flowers:

I was teasing him a few weeks ago telling him I deserved to have flower delivered to the house after a pretty challenging day. I completely forgot I’d said anything to him about it.

Sure enough, last week a delivery man turned up on her doorstep with 12 flours.

His distressed girlfriend then posted a picture of the ‘gift’ on Tesco’s Facebook page, saying she’d initially turned the delivery man away:

We’ve never ordered online from Tesco and why on earth did I need 12 bags of flour? He came back insisting the delivery was for me as he’d spoken to my boyfriend!

The penny didn’t drop until she texted Selway asking what the hell was going on.

“Definitely the last time I’ll ever mention that I’d love to have flowers delivered to the house,” she wrote.

We bet he’s DELIGHTED with himself. High five for effort.
