A WESTMEATH FARMER has died after falling into a slurry tank while working on his farm in Killare near Mullingar yesterday afternoon. The 56-year-old was treated at the scene but was pronounced dead at Mullingar Regional Hospital. The Health and Safety Authority and the gardaí are carrying out separate investigations into the incident.
