SOMETIMES SELFIES CAN be a slightly annoying addition to any social situation – but we will let this guy away with it this one time.

Slyly pretending to take a selfie with his girlfriend, this budding romantic had his phone on video mode the whole time – and recorded his marriage proposal in full:

A couple of life lessons here in the space of a minute – if you’re going to do a proposal video try and make it a little original and always keep your phone in horizontal mode throughout. It’s a win for everyone involved.
