THE TAOISEACH’S FONDNESS for his Nokia 6310 cannot be denied but in recent months he has been spotted coming to terms with new developments in his life.

The relationship between Enda Kenny and his iPhone seems to going through a bit of a purple patch of late. They’ve even been seen in public together.

We payed for 1,000 iPads for TDs and civil servants a few months ago. We borrowed the money as we are broke. It’s real Irish. the poor go hungry while the government get toys. Nice order and a lovely brown envelope for the guy who wrote the order.

  Let me get this right. On reading your contribution you make the following allegation;
  The person or person within the Government Department that completed the recent Order for the purchase of approximately one thousand iPads by way of an Authorised signature knowingly accepted a bribe from the supplier of said iPads.
  At the same time you allege that the supplier of said iPads knowingly provided a bribe by way of concealment in a brown envelope to the person or persons who provided the Authorised signature or signatures on the order.
