Electric Picnic: Who's playing at Body & Soul this year?

The Body & Soul arena is a wonderland away from the wilder ends of the Electric Picnic festival. We handpick this year’s highlights.

ONE OF THE highlights of the Electric Picnic is the Body & Soul area, which provides a wonderland away from the wilder sides of the festival site.

The line up for Body & Soul has just been announced, so here’s a look at the highlights:

Music

The Main Stage will see an exclusive performance by legendary Irish traditional musicians Andy Irvine, Donal Lunny, Liam O’Flynn and Paddy Glackin, who together are known as LAPD.

Hot tubs and laughter yoga

If you’re tired of the music, or want to soothe your back after a long night’s camping, you can head to the Zen Gardens and Earth Spirit areas and indulge in hot tubs, shamanic healing, Indian head massage, or even laughter yoga.

There’s no need to subsist on tins of beans at the festival, as foodies can chow down thanks to Natasha’s Living Food Emporium, Chai Chapel, Thai Bamboo, Tiny Tea Tent, and the Hurly Burly Crew.

Keeping with its hippy bent, there will be an ERP Recycle and Rock programme at the EarthShip at Body & Soul, which will feature live acts along with interactive panel discussions, sustainability workshops and up-cycled fashion shows
