Here's why everyone is talking about Eastenders this morning

One of the actors appeared to fluff his lines last night.

TO CELEBRATE THE show’s 30th anniversary, Eastenders is broadcasting every day this week in what has been billed a “week of revelations”.

The soap is airing every evening this week and, slowly but surely, narrowing down suspects in the case of the murder of Lucy Beale.

Each episode will feature live elements and there’s even going to be a flashback episode.

It’s kind of a big deal.

This morning, both Eastenders and #EELive are still trending on Twitter in Ireland.

Why?

In last night’s episode, Jake Woods’ character Max Branning left viewers slightly confused after he apparently flubbed his line live and said, “She knows whether you killed Lucy” to a fellow character.

The fact that he said “you” instead of “who” left viewers wondering whether he had inadvertently spoiled the whole thing and revealed the killer.

The official Eastenders account put it best.

However, actor Jake Woods later sent out this tweet, which seems to confirm that he did not mess up his lines and meant to say “you”.

Either way, people cannot bloody cope.

In fact, this “stressed to the Max” meme has been doing the rounds.

So, who did kill Lucy Beale?

According to the BBC, there are still fourteen viable suspects.

The plot thickens.
