Another new bar looks set to open in the capital in the coming weeks.
But this isn’t just any regular old pub.
This one describes itself as a “hip new buzz bar” and is set to open on Harcourt Street.
The name? You might want to brace yourselves…
PORNDOG.
“Fancy going for one in Porndog?”
As you can see, it’s a name that succesfully marries two things that should never, ever be brought together. (Porn and dogs.)
PORNDOG’s recent job postings looking for people who are experienced in the arts of fermenting and house sausage making suggests that we can expect a bit of a hipster vibe.
PORNDOG is looking for chefs with an interested or skill set in classic methods, such as in house sausage making, curing & smoking – creating suitable spice blends. Vegetable pickling, fermenting & preserving (eg. Sauerkraut, kimchi, gherkins). Bread, Flatbread & Bun baking (eg. brioche, sourdough, focaccia).
