This exchange was posted to Twitter yesterday by Luke Mackay in London – a friend of the woman involved in what might just be the most awkward post-date texting ever witnessed.
She and Luke had just been on a first date when she received this message
Polite. This is clearly a friendly ‘thanks, but no thanks.’
Luke kept going though
Then money came into it, and all hope for a polite-but-awkward end to their brief relationship was gone
“You said you liked contrasts”
Please, Luke, let the four quid go.
