FRANKLY, WE’VE SUSPECTED it for some time. But official confirmation has now arrived. Looking at cute photos of baby animals makes you better at your job.

And it must be true, because of science.

Well, one study anyway. Research carried out in Japan suggests that students who looked at photos of baby animals performed better at a task requiring careful concentration, LiveScience reports.

Students who looked at boring ol’ grown-up animals, meanwhile, were all over the shop.

There’s speculation that interacting with babies makes you slow down and take more care over what you’re doing. But, whatever. The main thing is: Squeeing Is Good For You.
