TWO PEOPLE HAVE died and three have been hospitalised in a three-car collision in Co Cork. The accident occurred on the main road from Cork city to Carrigaline in the early hours of this morning. On Saturday, a 21-year-old man died in a single vehicle crash at a nearby spot around 5.30am.

A MAN IN his 20s has died following a road accident in Co Cork, on the N22 at Macroom shortly after 6.30am this morning. He was a passenger in a car. The driver and another passenger, also in their 20s, were taken to Cork University Hospital where their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
