WHICH NEW MOVIE release is worth the price of a cinema ticket this weekend?
We’re here to help you decide just that, with these trailers.
The Great Gatsby
For fans of: Glitter, gold, excess
Avoid if: You want this film to stay true to the book
F Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel about the roaring twenties, excess, and the crumbling of the American dream gets the Baz Luhrman treatment. We all know what that means: things will be bright, loud, covered in glitter and totally unlike what you imagined when you first read the book. At least the costuming will be gorgeous, anyway.

Fast and Furious 6
For fans of: Fast cars, hot people
Avoid if: You hated, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5
Yes, this is the sixth film in the Fast and Furious franchise. Is this all that Paul Walker does these days, star in Fast and Furious films? And Vin Diesel too? Ah well, if you want action, fast cars, wonderfully over-the-top stunts, ladies in short skirts and the return of the stars of the first F&F film, this is the movie for you. Bring lots of popcorn. That’s the deal – take it or leave it, as Vin would say.

For fans of: Disturbing sociopaths
Avoid if: The trailer gives you the creeps
This film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance last year, and features Brady Corbett as a man recovering from a bad break-up. He finds solace in his relationship with Victoria (Mati Diop), a prostitute, but gets drawn into a manipulative game where it is clear he is not so innocent as he appears.
