Irish teen wins 122K Facebook fans for videos about Irish mammies and grannies

Cian Twomey is a star on the rise.

A FILM STUDENT from Cork has seen his Facebook fame rocket in the space of a few weeks.

Cian Twomey – who’s just 19 – has been making short videos about Irish mammies, grannies, teenagers and everything in between for several months now.

Their popularity and his prolific posting has seen him garner 122,000 thousand ‘Likes’ on Facebook.

He gained 100,000 of those followers in just three weeks.



Twomey told DailyEdge.ie that he’ll be branching out and developing his own YouTube channel when he hits 150,000 Facebook fans.

The comedian has also filmed his take on nosey Gardaí, racist grannies and Irish teachers.
