Kelsey Grammar and 6 other celebrity walk-offs

The former Frasier star took exception to Piers Morgan on his TV show… and he’s not the first to flounce off a telly set.

KELSEY GRAMMAR REPORTEDLY bolted from the studio of Piers Morgan’s US TV show after producer’s briefly flashed a photo of the actor’s ex wife Camille at the start of the program.

It’s not the first time that a guest has popped off Morgan’s programme, who is the latest in a long line of TV hosts to rub up the interviewee the wrong way.

We take a look at a few other well known sensitive moments.

Preston

Things never got off to a good start for Ordinary Boys front man and big brother star Preston on BBC  panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

After being introduced as the man behind a band with “two fans”, host Simon Amstell began quoting from the autobiography of the singer’s wife, Chantelle Houghton.

Presenter Simon Amstell started of by taking a dig at his number of fans “two” before beginning read out of his wife Chantelle’s autobiography.

“Oh no we can’t leave Preston,” said Amstell, before comedian Bill Bailey ran up into the audience and picked someone at random to replace him.

Paris Hilton

The reality TV star didn’t take too kindly to the question was she “worried about your moment having passed and Kim Kardashian ”overshadowing you”.

A twitch of her head to her publicist and she was off, although she later calmed down and showed the reporter her doll house.

Greek politician

Ilias Kasidiaris, a spokesman for the Greek far right party Golden Dawn, was none too happy to have the subject of a pending court case brought up against him. He threw a glass of water at Rena Dorou, a member of the radical left Syriza party, before turning on Liana Kanelli, a Communist party member, and slapping her several times on her face.

Brian Kennedy

Our own Brian Kennedy got involved in some celebrity smack down after refusing to kiss and make up with showbiz journalist Paul Martin.

He walked off set of Brendan O’Connor’s Saturday night show, when the subject of his infamous wine-throwing moment on the TV3 series, Celebrity Come Dine With Me, was brought up.

“He is kind of like a persistent wasp at a barbecue,” Kennedy said of Martin. “That’s my feeling. It is as straight forward as that.”

Will you not make up, asked O’Connor?

“Nah, See ya” he replied, before walking off the set.

Keith Allen

Mouthing the word ‘bourgeois’ at the camera in a debate about situation comedy, Lily Allen’s father seemed like he was stuck in the dinner party from hell throughout this little piece of magic TV.

“God you’re so thick, I’m going home,” he exclaimed.

BeeGees

One person walking off set is bad enough, but how about an entire band? Maurice, Barry and Clive didn’t get on with with host Clive Anderson from the start.

Comments like “I didn’t realise you were real brothers – I thought you were sisters” and a reference to their original name of “Les Tosseurs” didn’t seem high brow enough for the three brothers.

“You’re the tosser, pal,” said Barry, before getting up and leaving.
