HAS BEYONCÉ FINALLY spoken out about the ‘elevator incident’? Seems like it, if her new song is anything to go by.
In May TMZ leaked CCTV footage of Solange attacking Jay Z in the elevator of a New York hotel, as Beyoncé looked on.
After a veritable media storm, the trio released a statement saying they had ‘moved on’ and worked through the incident as a family.
Yesterday, Beyoncé released a new remix of her track Flawless*** with Nicki Minaj – and many suspect it contains her response to the fight.

Bey sings this line near the beginning of the song, which contains rather a lot of references to elevators:
We escalate/Up in this b***h like elevators/Of course sometimes s**t go down when it’s a billion dollars on a elevator
The general feeling we get from this line is a resounding “Pssh. Whatever like.” Good for you, Yoncé.

Last month Solange broke her silence on her fight with Jay Z in an interview with US women’s magazine Lucky, saying the family are ‘all good’.
We’re no closer to discovering what the whole thing was about. Still, it’s nice to see things are so patched up Beyoncé can joke about it in a song.
