BEYONCÉ IS PLAYING Dublin this weekend for TWO NIGHTS. It’s going to be fierce.
And she’s asked fans to bring old clothes to the show with them.
Is this because they’re going to get wet? Is it because they’re going to dance so hard their clothes are unable to take the strain? WHY, BEYONCÉ, WHY?
It’s actually part of an appeal for the Simon Community, who are partnering with Mrs Carter as part of a global charity drive around her new tour.
They’ll have volunteers at Queen Bee’s O2 shows on Saturday and Sunday, collecting:
· Clothing (in good condition)
· Accessories: handbags, jewellery, belts, hats, scarves, gloves, sealed cosmetics
· Toiletries (new/unused): toothpaste, shower gel, deodorants, toothbrushes, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, perfume, aftershave, make-up, shaving foam/gel, hairbrushes/combs, nail brushes, body lotion, face creams, cotton buds/wool
The donations will be used to put together the kits that Simon provide to people using their emergency accommodation; seeking work placements; and eventually moving into their own homes.
Simon are also asking fans to spread the word using the hashtag #BEYGOOD.
