Benedict Cumberbatch's wax figure is SHOCKINGLY lifelike

Truly uncanny.

THIS MORNING, MADAME Tussauds unveiled a waxwork of Benedict Cumberbatch in its London museum.

And while waxworks notoriously have a reputation for looking less like the celebrity in question and more like creepy dolls, this one is shockingly lifelike.

B-Cumb, is that you, bbz?

Madame Tussauds announced plans to introduce the waxwork back in July. The actor joked at the time:

Finally I can photobomb myself! What a weird and wonderful compliment to be included in the ranks of talent already committed to wax. I’ve been accused of being wooden in my work but never waxy!

Needless to say, fans who attended the launch were only delirious with excitement and seized the opportunity to take selfies with the figure.

Some fans poked him just to make sure he wasn’t real and others were nearly reduced to tears. (See: girl to his left in blue looking downward with seemingly misty eyes.)

And, of course, they spent some time just gazing at him.

See that look in their eyes? That’s true love.
