Three daredevils secretly climbed the One World Trade Center (dubbed the Freedom Tower) in the dead of night to BASE jump from the top. The building, which was completed last May, is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere.
A camera in one of the jumper’s helmets filmed the man leaping from the 1,776 ft tall building before pulling his parachute cord and landing safely in the middle of a road.
The stunt was filmed at around 3am on the morning of 30 September 2013, but the video only appeared online yesterday. Watch and be amazed.
According to the New York Post, the jumpers turned themselves in to the authorities after posting the video.
