Arnotts has pulled this controversial 'my first pole dance' t-shirt from shelves

The t-shirt was on sale up until yesterday, but has now been removed.

A T-SHIRT SHOWING a Dad and his two sons watching a pole dancer has been removed from Arnotts department store in Dublin.

Ruhama – a group that works with women affected by prostitution – pointed out the offending item to the Dublin department store yesterday:

Arnotts responded to the group, informing them that the item has now been removed from the store and issuing an apology for any offence caused:

The product garnered quite a response online before it was removed

The item has been taken down from the store’s website.

An Arnotts spokesperson told DailyEdge.ie:

A t-shirt that was stocked in our men’s department was brought to our attention yesterday evening as it caused offence and it was removed from both the floor and our website yesterday evening.  The T-Shirt brand in question deals in humorous products, but in this instance we apologise for the unintentional offence caused.  Once it was brought to our attention we acted immediately.
